Chicken Shawarma with Tahini Sauce

Enjoy this as is, on a pita or with a Mediterranean salad!


Ingredients

Chicken

4 Chicken Breasts

2T Cumin

2T Garlic

1T Parsley

1T Paprika

1t Cinnamon

2t Cajun

1t Turmeric

Salt & Pepper

1t lemon juice

2T Olive Oil


Tahini Sauce

4T tahini paste

2T water

2T olive oil

2T lemon juice

1t garlic powder

Salt & Pepper


Directions

  1. Combine all spices (except parsley) and set aside. Cover chicken in lemon juice and then rub with spices.

  2. Add oil to a pan over medium heat. When warm, add chicken and cook about 5 minutes per side. Work in batches if needed.

  3. While chicken is cooking, make Tahini sauce. Add more oil, lemon, water as needed.

  4. Assemble and top with fresh parsley
