Chicken Shawarma Over Israeli Salad Topped with Healthy Tzatziki

Making Tzatziki at home is actually really easy and adds a refreshing element to your meal.


Ingredients

Chicken Shwarma

3 chicken breasts

1T cumin

2t Garlic Powder

2t Parsley

2t Smoked Paprika

1t Cinnamon

2t Cajun

1t Tumeric

Salt & Pepper


Israeli Salad

Cherry tomatoes

Half of a Red onion

1 Cucumber

1/4c Quinoa

1-2T Olive Oil

2t lemon juice

Salt & Pepper


Tzatziki Sauce

2c Grated Cucumbers

1c Greek Yogurt

2T Olive Oil

1T Lemon Juice

2t Dill

2t Garlic Powder

Salt& Pepper


Directions


Chicken

  1. Mix seasonings and set aside. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium low heat.

  2. Chop chicken into 1 inch pieces. Cover with seasonings. Place in pan and cook for 8 minutes, flipping the pieces halfway. Set aside

Israeli Salad

  1. Cook Quinoa as directed on package. Cut tomatoes in half. Finely chop red onions. Cut cucumbers into small pieces.

  2. Mix all ingredients and enjoy!

Tzatziki Sauce

  1. Grate Cucumbers. Throw them in a strainer or a cheese cloth and try to get out as much moisture as possible.

  2. Mix all ingredients and enjoy!
