Chickpea “Hummus” Mash

Crunchy alternative to hummus! Enjoy with bread, chips, veggies or as a dip for a crowd.

Ingredients

1 Can Chickpeas

3T Tahini

3T Olive Oil

2T Lemon Juice

2 Garlic Cloves

Salt & Pepper

1T Water

Za'atar Seasoning


Directions

  1. Drain can of chickpeas and set aside.

  2. Add all remaining ingredients (except Za'atar) and mix. Then add chickpeas and mix. If the mixture is not thin enough, add olive oil or water.

  3. Then mash with a fork, spoon or potato masher until chunky.

  4. Serve on bread or with veggies. Top with olive oil and Za'atar

  5. Double if you want this to be a dip for a crowd.
