Cilantro Lemon Cream Sauce with Chicken

This sauce is so tasty! You can use any pasta or serve with zoodles.


Ingredients

4 Chicken Breasts or Thighs

1 Onion

2T garlic cloves, minced

1/2c uncooked Orzo

2c Chicken Broth

1/2 Lemon

1/2c Cilantro,

1/2T Cream

1T Butter

1T Olive oil

Salt & Pepper


Directions

  1. Add butter and oil to pan. Heat to medium and add chicken. Brown on both sides and remove from pan - 5 minutes per side.

  2. Cook chopped onion and garlic in same pan for 3 minutes. Stir often. Lower heat to a simmer.

  3. Add broth, lemon juice, cilantro and splash of cream. Add pasta (cook to the time on the package of the pasta you use). Put chicken back in once pasta is al dente to warm - cook about 5 minutes.

  4. Serve with more cilantro!
