Grilled Romaine Lettuce

I am a daily salad eater, so this is my favorite summer grill meal. Serve with any of your favorite salad dressing and toppings.


Ingredients

2 Romaine Stalks

Sunflower Seeds

Croutons

Dressing (Creamy Poppyseed is my fav)

Parmesan Cheese

Seasoning (I prefer a dash of steak seasoning)

A sunny, warm, summer day


Directions

  1. The grill should be on medium. Cut the lettuce stalk direction in half (long ways)

  2. Spray grill down with oil

  3. Place on grill and wait a few minutes. Check often, but this shouldn't need more than 5 minutes! If it is charred a little bit on top, that's good!

  4. Serve on extra plates because you'll need some room to eat it. Top with your favorite salad toppings and dressing.
