My favorite way to make asparagus is by blanching. You may also oven roast or throw in the air fryer.
If blanching or air frying, place the marinade over the the cooked asparagus. If roasting in the oven, it can cook in the marinade at 350 for 15-20 mins.
Ingredients
1lb Asparagus
2T Oil
1T butter (vegan)
1T Lemon juice
1t Garlic Powder (optional)
Red Pepper Flakes (optional)
Salt & Pepper
Parmesan
Directions
Cut ends of asparagus. Mix oil, melted butter, lemon juice, and spices together. Set aside
Cook asparagus (blanch, roast or air fry). Pour sauce over asparagus. Sprinkle Parmesan over cooked vegetables, so it melts a little.
