Salisbury Steak with Gravy Sauce

Classic Salisbury Steak recipe you can't mess up!





Ingredients

Patties

1/2 Onion

1/2c Panko breadcrumbs

1lb ground beef

1 Garlic Clove, minced

1 Egg

2T Ketchup

1t Worcestershire


Sauce

1T olive oil

2T butter

2 Garlic Cloves

1t onion powder

2c Beef Broth

2t cornstarch

2t Worcestershire

Salt & Pepper

Mushrooms (optional)


Directions

  1. Mix all patty ingredients in a bowl. Form 1 1/2 inch thick patties (4). Heat oil over medium heat and place patties in. Cook 2-3 minutes per side. Set aside.

  2. Sauce: Add oil and butter to the pan until melted. Add garlic and onion powder. Mix broth and cornstarch in a separate bowl and pour in pan. Add Worcestershire and mushrooms if using. Cook 5 minutes until thickened. Add patties back in and cook another 5 minutes until warm

  3. Serve! Serve over rice or noodles.
