Stove Top Shrimp Boil

Corn wasn't in season when we made this, but green beans go so well with the other flavors in this. It was a great addition.

Ingredients

3T Butter

3T Olive Oil

2T Garlic, minced

1lb Sausage, cut into chunks

4 Yukon (Gold) Potatoes

1/2lb Green Beans

2 Lemons (1 for juice, the other for slices)

1lb Shrimp

1T Old Bay Seasoning


Directions

  1. Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat. Cook shrimp 3 minutes per side and remove. Add butter and melt.

  2. Add cut potatoes and cook for 10 minutes. Add garlic and mix. Add Sausage chunks and make sure sausage is cooked through. About 10 minutes.

  3. Add lemon juice and green beans. Cover and cook for 5 minutes until green beans are almost cooked through. Add old bay seasoning and shrimp. Cook another 2 minutes until the shrimp is warm again.

  4. Serve with lemon slices!
